The Chocolate Malt Shake

If you’ve ever been to a local sports meet or a busy street corner, you know the “Milo Van” or the “Milo Stall” vibe. It’s cold, thick, and hits the spot like nothing else. It’s the unofficial national drink for anyone looking for a quick energy boost.


Ingredients

  • 4-5 tbsp Milo powder (be generous!)

  • 1 cup chilled Fresh Milk or Condensed milk for extra sweetness

  • A splash of hot water (to dissolve)

  • Plenty of Ice cubes


Method

  1. Dissolve the Milo powder in a tiny bit of hot water to get rid of lumps.

  2. Add the cold milk and stir vigorously (or use a blender for that frothy top).

  3. If you want it street-style, stir in a spoonful of condensed milk.

  4. Pour over a glass full of ice and top with an extra teaspoon of dry Milo powder.
